It has low elongation and is 35-40% stronger than regular polypropylene. Manufactured from high tenacity polyolefin yarns, BLUE STEEL™ on reels offer easy handling, high strength and excellent abrasion resistance, excellent resistance to most common chemicals, rot and mildew. The rope floats, does not absorb water and has a specific gravity of .91, has excellent UV characteristics and is economical.
