The RXT, or as its elongated name otherwise knows it, the Ronix Xperimental Technology board is exactly what it says, the experimental model out of the brand that likes to meddle medley and that experimentation continues! What's new from the masterminds at Ronix and pro wakeboarder Massi Piffaretti, other than just an incredibly smooth riding, explosive board? It now comes with pre-tensioned glass, it lands softer than ever! On the inside is a core that Ronix has dubbed the Blackout core; what is it, you may ask? They won't tell us, so via some creative guesstimation, we've concluded that it is a concoction of dragonhide, woven with fibres from the Stig's own race suit and bonded together with McDonald's long-lost Szechuan sauce stolen from the home of the creators of Rick & Morty. To add stiffness, Ronix finished the core with 2 carbon stringers in centre of the board. For the profile, the RXT uses an abrupt continuous rocker, allowing the board to carry insane speed and store energy all the way to the top of the wake to get that all-new massive pop. Making sure you get through to the wake, the RXT now features elongated Saw Cut Rails and tip and tail channels. This will provide you greater grip and faster transitions edge to edge, while still giving you an immaculate release off the wake.

Rocker Line

Abrupt Continuous Rocker – When you want that late rampy boost off the wake, an abrupt continuous rocker helps to provide. Its late pulled curve won't only release that stored energy late but also allow the board to continue carrying speed.

Core Construction

Black Out Core - This core is so incredibly amazing that Ronix wouldn't tell us what it's made from. So we started digging, accidentally hit China by mistake, popped up in Mexico, got stuck at Donald Trump's wall and finally snuck into the Labs in Seattle. So what makes it so amazing, you ask? It's a wonderful concoction of sugar, spice and everything nice combined with unicorn tears, rocking horse poo and a slight dash of the colonel's 11 secret herbs and spices.
Carbon Stringers - Stringers running vertically through the board creating directional stiffness and create Ronix's most explosive pop to date. Or 2 giant gummy worms. What? We told you they wouldn't tell us what's in it; we're just exploring all options.

Laminates

Monocoque Construction - An outer glass wrap from the bottom to the top, so the flash line is switched out from the weakest point of the board to the strongest. It is also renowned as the most durable construction in wakeboarding.
Pre-Tension Fibreglass - Designed to give you the perfectly structured finish straight out of the box, this pre-stressed fibreglass gives you the signature lift off the wake without sacrificing the softer landings
Magic Carpet - Ronix are always sourcing new fibreglass materials trying to find that perfect blend that allows the perfect amount of resin to seep thru and set to their Magic Carpet

Base

Sintered Base - Less Friction means more glide speed and carries into the wake.
Saw Cut Rails - Adds Grip and hold once on edge to lock you in and provide a smooth arc into the wake.
Ronix Break Up Channels - Directing water flow through the base at the tail to provide the ultimate hold up the wake and the perfect release.
